God has determined that men should take on the responsibility of faithful servant leadership (Matthew 20:25, 26) in the local church. He has spelled out the qualifications (1 Timothy 3) for both pastors and deacons. We are thankful for our servant leaders who willingly take on this vital work.

Prior to coming to Grace, Jim served at Faith Baptist church in Brainerd, MN for 28 years. He is burdened that the local church faithfully and practically proclaim God’s Word. Jim has had extensive training and experience in biblical counseling. This is a major focus in his leadership at Grace. Along with this, he has a desire to see people trained to use their gifts and abilities to faithfully serve the Lord and help others. He desires to see people come to know God personally and to serve Him. A favorite verse of his is Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Joseph was saved at a young age of 5 years old when he responded to a Sunday school lesson on the Crucifixion of Jesus, whose death paid for the sins of the world. He met his wife, Hannah, at a church they both used to attend and got married in May of 2025. The Schuellers enjoy playing various games, spending time outside, and worshipping through music. Joseph earned his BS in Business Administration at Metro State University in St. Paul, MN and is currently working towards earning his Master of Divinity online at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN. While serving at Forest Springs Camp and Conference Center in Westboro, WI, in2021 as a counselor, Joseph felt God calling him into the ministry. He spent the next several years gaining experience in church ministry as a pastoral intern and seminary student. Joseph was called as the associate pastor to Grace Baptist Fellowship in March of 2025. Joseph is burdened for the spiritual growth of the church by ministering the Word through preaching, teaching, counseling, and building relationships with the members. He also desires the local church to be reaching out to the community so that people can come to know the salvation that only Christ offers.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
