Senior Pastor Jim Goodew
Jim was saved in 8th grade following a message from God’s word at church on a Sunday evening.   He met his wife, Susie, at Faith Baptist Bible college and Theological Seminary (FBBC&S) in Ankeny Iowa.  They have 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
The Goodews enjoy  the outdoors, gardening, and hiking.  Jim loves hunting of various sorts and fishing.
Jim earned both his BS in Pastoral Studies and his MA in Practical Theology at FBBC&S. Prior to coming to Grace, Jim served at Faith Baptist church in Brainerd, MN for 28 years.
He is burdened that the local church faithfully and practically proclaim God’s Word.  Jim has had extensive training and experience in biblical counseling.  This is a major focus in his leadership at Grace.  Along with this, he has a desire to see people trained to use their gifts and abilities to faithfully serve the Lord and help others.
He desires to see people come to know God personally and to serve Him.  A favorite verse of his is Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Walker Brown
Walker and Amy Brown began dating in 2009.  As they grew together they grew in their understanding of the Bible and their love for Jesus Christ.  In 2011, they made the Bible the primary guide of truth in their lives, which eventually included finding Grace Baptists Fellowship.  The have 5 children: Ellie, Lauren, Wyatt, Penelope and Watson.  They enjoy many activities as a family and love the outdoors.  They are thankful for Grace in every way, not only what they receive but how they can give back to their eternal family.

Dale Lindner
Hi, my name is Dale Lindner and my wife’s name is Angie.  We were married in 2000.  We have five children: Andrew, Aaron, Abby, Abram,  and Asher  (Wow that’s a lot of A’s). I have been a follower of Christ since 2003 and Angie since she was a little girl.  With Christ as our focus we aim to make Him the center of our home and our lives.  We as a family enjoy many outdoor activities and sports.  One of my favorite Bible verses is Galatians 5;1 “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”  I look forward to serving at Grace Baptist.

Ben Welsand
Ben and Aimee Welsand began dating in May of 2000.  Shortly after meeting, Ben accepted Christ as his personal savior.  Aimee accepted Christ in April of 1997, and had been attending Victory Baptist church  (which would soon become Grace Baptist Fellowship).  Ben was involved in a building addition project at Grace that expanded our facilities and both of them signed on as charter members.  They were married in September of 2003.  They have 6 children: Miles, Amelia, Fiona, Lena, Elsa and Arthur; whom they home school.  They have many interests, but mostly just enjoy being together as a family.  They consider Grace to be a third family and feel very close to them.  They are very thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and our church and look forward to what lies ahead.
